I teach from the belief that all people are musical.
Gospel music unleashes a joy and musicality that allows people to feel and experience the song and music with their whole bodies.
Take the plunge – and give yourself an experience of a lifetime.

NEW SEASON AND OPEN HOUSE FROM WEEK 35
Come and sing along a few times – no obligation and free – to see if it's for you.
In the choirs, we focus on energy, joy, interpretation and empathy.
It frees up a deep-seated joy and musicality that is completely unique.
There is room here for everyone who wants to sing in a gospel choir. No requirement to be able to read sheet music or have choir experience – here we work with pure joy in life!
No entrance exam!
“When I first heard Hans Christian's music I was blown away by the harmonies and voices. He is one of the most phenomenal songwriters.
His true passion for gospel music is displayed every time he performs.”
Grammy Award-winning producer & songwriter

I've written 200+ songs and I'm putting them on the page as I have the sheet music ready.
At SommerGospel, there are teaching opportunities for everyone – from beginners to experienced choir singers, gospel conductors, soloists, musicians and music illiterates.
In 2026 we have 3 courses:
* Week 27: Summer Gospel 1
* Week 28: Summer Gospel 2
* Week 33: International School of Gospel Music
My concept for a gospel workshop is simple:
We meet to sing gospel – and everyone can join!
A gospel workshop is the place where YOU sing gospel.
It is now the 26th time I have held My Songs in Copenhagen, and it is always a fantastically lovely day.
To participate in this workshop, all that is required is the desire to sing gospel. Forget about sheet music, age, and choir experience – come and sing along!
I work with gospel because I love what happens when people sing together: shoulders lower, eyes light up, and you can feel the joy of life fill the room.
I build up my choirs and workshops so that everyone can join in and have a good experience – regardless of whether you know sheet music or not, and regardless of whether you have sung before.
I use humor a lot because it gets my shoulders down and makes it easier to learn new things.
Do you need a feature that shakes the meeting air out of the room and brings people together across departments?
With a short gospel workshop you get energy, laughter and a shared experience where everyone can join — even those who “can't sing”.
In 30–40 minutes, a completely ordinary group of employees can stand like a choir and get a noticeable feeling of: “Okay... we can actually do this together.”
I dream of making my songs available to everyone. Dreams that my words and tones will bring you to life.
But I can't do it alone. I need your help.
Your donation will go to produce sheet music – which you can download absolutely free from my website. Your donation is also used to record songs – that you can listen to on all streaming services.
“ALL people are musical!
It is my job to release the musicality – to give people the opportunity to feel and experience the song and music with their whole body!
To sing in my choirs, you don't need to be able to read sheet music or know anything about singing technique.
Gospel is sung with the heart!”

You can both sing with him and experience him at a blast of a gospel concert.
News · Volney Morgan (UK)
I am really happy to announce that Volney Morgan is coming to Copenhagen and will be participating with Hezekiah Walker, Mark Taylor and me – both at the workshop on Wednesday 14 October and the concert on Friday 16 October.
It will be something very special to bring all four of us together in The Gospel Fellowship. I'm really looking forward to it!
News · Margaret Bell (USA)
Margaret Bell will be participating in both the workshop on Wednesday 14 October and the concert on Friday 16 October. She is a musical powerhouse and has performed with some of gospel music's greatest artists. I am really looking forward to having her in Copenhagen.
Friday 16 October
The Love Revolution Gospel Choir has just sung with Donald Lawrence, and their radiance, energy and musical level are absolutely top class. It is a huge privilege that they have agreed to participate.
For the first time in Copenhagen
With two Grammy Awards and world hits such as Every Praise and Better has Hezekiah Walker left his mark on gospel all over the world. He has also been a huge role model for me as a gospel artist.
We have worked together for several years and Hezekiah is involved in my recordings of It Is I and No Longer Bound by Fear. In 2019 we sang together with 2,000 gospel singers in Boxen in Herning, and in 2021 he visited SommerGospel. Now he comes to Copenhagen!
In The Gospel Fellowship Copenhagen, you can attend a workshop on Wednesday 14 October or come to a concert on Friday 16 October. And of course you are most welcome to both.
Wednesday 14 October · at 18.30
Fancy a great night out with gospel? Hezekiah Walker, Margaret Bell, Volney Morgan, Mark Taylor and I invite you to a three-hour gospel workshop in The Gospel Fellowship Copenhagen.
Here you can sing with Hezekiah, Margaret, Volney, Mark and me. Everyone can join! You don't need to be able to read sheet music or have sung gospel before. You are welcome whether you have been singing in a choir for many years or are going to try gospel for the very first time.
There are already many registrants from all over the country – and I hope you come too. It's great to sing gospel and when there are so many of us together, it can really be felt!
Three hour gospel workshop
The Gospel Fellowship · Frederiksberg Allé 9 · Copenhagen V
Friday 16 October · at 19.30
Hezekiah Walker is the headliner of the evening and you can look forward to a world-class concert with gospel.
Margaret Bell (USA) and Volney Morgan (UK) star as special guests – alongside Hezekiah, Mark Taylor and me.
To sing with Hezekiah, I have gathered some of the country's best gospel singers and musicians – many of them you may have heard in KB Hallen a year ago when we warmed up for Kirk Franklin. The band is led by American pianist and producer Mark Taylor.
The concert is opened by the Love Revolution Gospel Choir under the direction of Kathrina Bruunstrøm. They have just sung with Donald Lawrence, and their radiance, energy and musical level are absolutely top class. You can also experience Laura Kjærgaard.
It will be a discharge of energy and joy of life! I am really looking forward to sharing this evening with you.
Concert at 19.30

I look forward to sharing the two evenings with you!
