Soulsisters is for all women who want to sing in a gospel choir. Here we explore and express the different sides of being a woman through music and songs. We find our inner soul sister – and cultivate sister solidarity together. Soul Sisters has been a hit since we first had it on the program.
Gospel choir: Men in black, Didier Likeng
Choir singing is very much for men too! And when men come together to sing together, something very special happens. Didier Likeng has his musical roots in Africa, and in 2025 he led the men's choir in the International Week to great enthusiasm. New input, fun rhythms and high spirits are guaranteed!
Gospel Choir for Nerds, Mette Risager, Benjamin Jochimsen
At SommerGospel we love nerds! And we love TO nerd. To immerse ourselves. To discover how much we can do with our voices. In this gospel choir, the über-nerd Mette is responsible for opening up the singing technique toolbox, and together we lift choral singing to new heights!
Soloist: beginner, Lene Nørrelykke
Have you always wanted to try singing solo? Then this class is for you! Get the tools to explore new boundaries. This is YOUR chance to test your voice in a safe community. Lene has been on stage as a soloist 1000s of times, but she still remembers what it was like to be there in the beginning. Together we will get our nerves under control and test our limits – at your pace! (max 15 participants)
